From the series 'lumina' (Latin for lights or cavities)

This series of works evolved from earlier work by Laurens Mostert inspired by the Dutch ZERO movement (minimalism). In this lumina series a grid is applied on a panel, painted matt black. The grid (cavities) are filled with ink under a magnifying glass. A dip pen, with special developed gold-inks (lights) are used. The art works are created in a process of destruction and creation.
