What do we mean by contemporary art?
By contemporary art we mean works of art by (mainly Dutch) artists who are still active today. The artists affiliated with Modern Dutch Art Gallery have earned their stripes in the Dutch art world.
What types of contemporary artworks do we have?
The contemporary artworks in our collection are mainly abstract paintings painted on canvas, using acrylic or oil paint and possibly in combination with other materials (mixed media).
By using the filter at the top of the contemporary art collection page, you can easily filter by artist and/or size of the painting. If you would like to receive a simulation photo of the painting on your wall in advance, please let us know!
For shipments outside The Netherlands we prefer to deliver (larger) paintings without a frame. Framing the art work locally is more cost effective, and easier to select according your personal wishes. If you would like to be informed on the price of an art work without frame contact us.
